Mistylike flatspins

hey all,

we have this airbag and from time to time we try new inverted stuff just for the fun of it when the snow or the weather is bad,

so i tried a rodeo and it turned out to be a flat 7, maybe because i was scared to go down the whole way or whatever, but then i tried some misty 7s, now back on a park kicker and it turned out to be the exact same thing as a flatspin, i didnt go inverted and it at least was possible to be landed, although i didnt land it even on the third hit...

i have the video somewhere, and if one asks, i will put it up

so my question, has anyone ever did this? when people are talking about flats, they just say non-inverted rodeos but i would at least call non-inverted misties also flats.

maybe call them either flat misty 5 or 7 and flat rodeo 5 or 7, but i think this trick should have a name, since its a real basic one and noone is talking about them

Dude

Rodeo= lincoln loop with spins

Flatspin= Rodeo with out going inverted

Bio= forward cork (like a misty with out going inverted

Misty= frontflip+spins

im pretty sure you must have been doing a bio because to throw a flatspin you thrwo one ofyour shoulders back and a bio you throw your shoulders forward (like a cork)

Vid would be helpful though

Nah dude

over flip= 90 lincoln down the hill 90 out

underflip=90 lincoln up the hill 90 out

backfull= backflip 360

rodeo is a lincoln loop with spins in it just watch a slow video of one and you will see.

exactly...?

what you just described is a lincoln with a spin...which unless you throw it harder will be an underflip/overflip.

i guess you could call it a rodeo because you go inverted but the definition of a rodeo is generally a backflip with a spin. thats why when you do rodeo 5's you basically just backflip to the side a little and you start spinning...you dont throw it in any way like a lincoln

actually in arielest terminology it's called a full and they're not that hard off the right kind of kicker

yeah i know i could argue for hours but its not worth it.

and yeah i know, i ca n do mistys,rodeos flats and all those flips but i dunno, everyone's diffewrent

hey we came to a concensus on this. for a misty and rodeo its a flip/lincoln. because if you spin 90 while doing a front or back flip its the same as doing a lincoln basically.

well yes and no. maybe i just said that wrong. while doing a 180 front or back at a moment during this you are essentially doing a lincoln. maybe?

i agree

but if this kid or anyone could do an opposite flatspin like a sideways frontflip then he wud have a point and they wud need different names. never seen it done tho and it would be very difficult

some of peps sw cork 5s look like a flatish rotation in HY2. part 2, 2nd to last booter, the one he sets of a mini-slide on.

misty and rodeo arent similar.

as far as flatspins, overflips, underflips are concerned, ive given up trying to learn what they are becasue no one really seems to know here.

i just watch and marvel at a flippy spinny thing
