I've been trying to land this for a while. Landing on my knees most of the time. Or worse... my face haha. Does anyone have some tips? Please help and if you can find any videos explaining how please share.
i like cork nines more than misty nines try to turn 180 in the air then throw your 7 to get a cork nine then just throw a steep cork 9 so you go inverted and itll turn into a misty nine good luck
Get cork 7s down real good and start adding grabs and shit and then when you can easily do them and kind of drag them out then huck a little bit harder and bounce a little bit higher then you would go for a misty 7 and you will most likely misty 9 with no problem idk if it helps but i tried... tuff w/o video
well for corks 9 i know you dont have to throw steeper but keep you head right to you shoulder longer and it will lead to a nine, but misty 9 im sorry to say is kind of pointless unless you put it to bio IMO its not the best looking trick, but best of luck learning!
this could also work too! open up at like 630 and pencil out, it will make the spin much faster, but its harder to keep the grab thats why i said its not the best looking trick haha
im spinning pretty well. its just the landing. im never getting my legs out in time. a bigger bounce would help but if i spun faster id probably end up pulling a misty 10. haha.
wait are people really comparing cork 9 with misty 9? 0.o those are definitely different haha
if you want keep landing on your knee then it means that you dont flip enough so try to send it a bit more flippy with more bounce. you can do that by just tucking a little bit(idk how you're doing them, with a mute?safety?no grab?) but just tuck a little bit, it should send a bit less rotation and a a bit more flip.
Keep yourself tucked all the way and release right at the landing. If you don't you land on your face and fuck it up...did that yesterday. Anyways once you get the hang of it work on the grabs with smaller spin flips and work your way up. flips with grabs are $$$$$ compared to normal flips.
Exactly, cork is not even close to the same as misty. A 'steeper' cork, to whoever mentioned it earlier would mean its more backflippy, giving you d-spin. Corks are tilted backwards, not forwards like mistys.
