I agree that someone can alter their rotation path in the air to a certain extent, but when I think of a pretzel, I think of a complete change in the opposite direction, and I really don't think that's possible.

Just my $.02, I know some will disagree

Yeah it's definitely interesting, I guess it would only be a true pretzel with horizontal spinning, Idk if that'll ever happen though

I would have agreed with you up until I saw that video. I had to rewatch it quite a few times, but if you take note of which way he is spinning his misty and then which way he spins the 7 it's actually a legit pretzel.
 
Pretzel is something you do with your skis on a surface goddamnit if you're in the air it's a revert.

And those were both on axis flips.

That being said, that was pretty cool.
 
aerial dudes have been doing straight up aerial pretzels for a minute now, theres no arguing aerial dudes arent doing pretzels
