Missoula rail Jam/expo @caras park

date is still up in the air a little bit due to wild woods, we dont want to have it on the same weekened. set up so far will be a 20-25 stair set with handrail, 24 ft. donkey dick rail, and probly a box or two depending on snow/ice availability. Red Bull is one of the main sponsers so far and we will be working hard to bring the sickest rail jam missoula has ever seen. included will be a pro expo, redbull dj booth spinning sick beats and various tables booths.

if this goes down like the way you said and the way i am picturing it it could be huge for the missoula community!

it is right downtown missoula on the river. it is where they have the local farmers market and sometimes small bands play. brewfest is there, germanfest, hempfest i believe... its a well known place in this town.

invite only? that is a super bummer. even tho i havnt slid a rail since last christmas i still wanna shred!
 
HOLD ON.....Is there two different rail jams because i sent a video into the lost trail guy for theres but the o.ps sounds a lot different?
 
nevermind lts park post threw me off.....Im a bit disapointed its an invite only im hoping that this will change to an open format in years to come. Right now it seems more like a rail session with tsp riders showing off for zoo town. Not that theres a problem with that and im sure they have there reason. I might go even if i cant "compete"
 
The Founders of the 1st Annual ski and snowboard extravaganza at Cara's park are Jason Mathews and James Fleege. Both of us have put in a lot of time and effort. The reason why its invite only is because we are trying to produce a show to feed the Missoula community about the freestyle industry. There has always been the talk and need for freestyle so we are just trying to push it higher to the ceiling. In addition,due to insurance reasons, we need to limit the amount of riders as well as having the feed back from the riders because they know what the liabilities are.We are open to viewing edits to give you an invite to ride in the jam session. This isnt to be any kind of negativity to say your not good enough. Were just trying to produce a show to showcase to people the talent that we have in the area. This is the ski industry....were open to fun and a good time. Facebook us at Totally Tobeys Production.
 
im all about a rail jam... you should talk to that new backcountry ski shop next to the bridge that just opened... maybe they could donate. also is it open to snow boarders i know quite a few that would love to show up that day...
 
hamilton my friend november 11 sounds a bit more fun then the missoula stop the have eye trip, food/drink, and it sounds more like everybody out there just having a good time
 
Nov. 13 will be another jam at caras open for everyone to ski. thats the one this thread was originally started for.
 
Oh sweet. I'll be at that one for sure. I'll probably be at the one tomorrow too. I'll be the kid walking around with the Canon 20D, taking pictures.
 
I want to go skiing really bad. Just saying. Oh and western Montana early this week-snow? I think yes!
 
were looking at some possible dates and locations, and some different set ups , as well as sponsers, im sure it will come back in a big way, just keep checking up. hopefully the cool weather comes soon!
