missoula anyone?

Yo dawg, I go to school at the U of M and I go skiing all the time. I didnt really think anyone else from missoula would be on this site. thats cool! The skiig has been the shit lately, and I just went up to snowbowl yesterday and hit unending powder. Marshall Mountain has such a fun park, gay jumps but some really nice rails that are nice and wide so you dont kill youself everytime. Anyways, we should get in touch and represent missoula

i'm moving to Utah next fall, but my computer and some other worthless junk is still scattered around missoula in random peoples houses, so i gotta get back there at some point for the computer. or maybe i will make kyler bring it down for me....?

I just wanted to bring this thread back to see if any skiers want to meet up so we can get a crew together in Missoula. Not much of a ski scene here.......yet.

I will def be going up to big mtn often if you'd want to hitch a ride with me. They arent opening until the 25th or so. but i would be down to do some backcountry also.

shit, I want to try to go skiin this weekend. Is there any snow up at Lolo? there's not much in the valley. I really need to go, somethings missing in my life right now. Any ideas?? Im willing to drive somewhere.

 
got back from the pass....looks kinda sketch even for rails...there is a sweet rail we saw some kids hit at lolo school, just needs a little more snow. Suppose to snow this weekend

Hey! i went to Lolo pass yesterday (11-11-03) and it was unbelievable. Everything is white! i was skeptical for awhile because most of the drive up there the ground has maybe .5 inches and then all of a sudden there is about 2 feet of freshies and it was snowing hard. It was so great to be back in the snow.

We tried to build a small hip jump but had problems getting speed but then we set up a small rail it was a blast. i would reccomend going up there to get your fix.

yea, there is a ton of snow up there!!!

 
Lolo Pass is Sweet....we set up a little towin in the parking lot and a rail, they got about 2 feet (11-14)

the rail at lolo school is really made up of a few short rails all in a line. there are a few gaps in between them that you cant see from the road. it sucks, so unless you gotta snowboard to 50 50 it, i dont see it happeneing. some dope rails around missoula though is a 17 stair on fourth street i think, between higgins and brooks, at a church. there is also that yellow one behind safeway and next to the hospital. the campus is super flat so good luck with that. there is one that i want to do that i didnt end up doing last year whenever it is i may come back. well actually two, but they are both top secret...

nah Kip, marshall prob isn't even going to open this year because of stupid people being in charge. But there is a possibility, depending if they get some snow. You can hike up there though if you want, that can be fun

Snowbowl doesn't usually have a park or it really sux, so.. i would suggest making a trip to big mtn. They at least have real good kickers. Im going there this week when they open, ill let you know what they got.

There are a couple of sick rails on campus that i want to hit up this season. I dont think speed will be a prob either.

L1P's new movie 'Forward' is showing on campus on wednesday (12-3-03) at Urey Lecture hall on campus.

I've heard its pretty damn good so GO if you are into that sorta thing, cost is $3.
