anyone going to mission ridge on friday? my roommate and i will be there, we've got two seats open (i think one is pending, right Elijah?) in his car, so if any of you bham kids want to go let me know.

off mission's site:

snowmaking has made it happen! We will be open for the

weekend with Chair #1 and the rope tow with some rails and jumps thrown

in just for the fun of it! Get ready to warm up for the season

starting Friday, November 23 9am-4pm for just $28 per lift ticket ages

7and up, 6and under just $8.00.

So the rumor is indeed true, I may be heading up there, the severity of my hangover will be the deciding factor.

I plan on being there the following weekend when I am back at CWU. Hopefully I can get some cheap skate friends to give up partying for a night to go up to Mission.

one green run with rails and jumps... and a lift.

hiking baker is a lot of fun, but we'll get more actual skiing in (depending on lift lines i guess), instead of spending most of the time hiking.

Man I'm sorry to tell you but that is a rip off you could probably hike that chair in like 10 minutes and there normal lift ticket is only like 40 dollars i think

its 50.

is it really going to be that ghey? we are mainly going so we can fuck around and not hike so much. 30 bucks for a day of entertainment sounds like a decent deal.

sam you will be in line for half the time, you will be on the lift for 2/6th of the time leaving you skiing one shitty beginner run with every other fool in the state for 1/6th of the time, not to mention you will be driving for a long ass time too. just go to baker and ski good snow.

yea but it'll be fun billy.

and since i didnt go home for thanksgiving this year, the money that would've gone for a tank of gas can now be used for a shitty beginner run with every fool in the state.

What a toss-up, I can't decide whether to head to Mission Ridge or to hike Baker. I need to fucking ski.

I'm in the same boat, thinking I might do one or the other friday though.

To be honest, I would be in heaven to be standing in a lift line right now, I don't even care. Just to be in my gear standing on snow, moving or not, I'd be pretty stoked.

i can tell all you thinking about baker that yes the snow is decent, however it is tracked out like mad.

we are hitting up mission no matter, it'd be tight to have some more WA kids over there to fuck around with. lets make it a party

I don't care what you think. I say fuck November and early December skiing; it's for queers. Skiing will be cool around the 22nd of December.

your broken-now-healing leg rhetoric is different than reality

skiing is fun, and tomorrow, and any other day between now whenever, will be fun.

but expecting a shit ton of snow on the basis of nothing is nothing but disastrous, but different, as i say.

Too far to go, wish I new sooner. I think I'll just make my way to Stevens for a few hours if the forecast holds.

I'm in east wenatchee with my parents right now for thanksgiving and i bailed on going today because it looked like pretty shitty weather, but im looking to go tomorrow (saturday) if anyone wants to shred.

Can anyone today report on the setups etc?

great fun was had by all!

and evan, there is one lift, and one run open, with one box, one flat rail, and one teeny round C rail. no jumps

good seeing you sammy, its been far too long!

The park stuff was minimal for sure, but no complaints from any of us I'm sure. I still had loads of fun on them. Just felt good to be on snow.
