MISSION OPENS SATURDAY

doubt it, if you have a pass at another mountain you may be able to get a disscount, but dont quote me on that
 
Last year when they opened since it was only one run it was super cheap (I want to say like $15??). Would be kinda lame if it was $50 this weekend.

Doesn't someone here work there? Can you confirm ticket price?

I agree with you on this one, i remember it was like 30 dollars, but stilll way cheaper then my 44 dollars or 50 $ for the adults.. that is outrageous. !
 
I'll be there. Look for a red helmet with and ON3P sticker and old HH yellow pants. I will most likely be yelling something about how awesome it is to have a lift.
 
If anyone is kind enough to pick me up on their way through Cle Elum, I might be able to scrap enough money for a tick, I promise nobody will ever have to wait for me, I'm a very low mantainace partner.
 
now i just need to decide if it is worth the money and the drive. im leaning towards yes since there are two runs/lifts

so chair 2 is open. so does that mean there is a run open from the top all the way to the base? im not too familiar with mission (i've only been there once *last year on opening day*)

wow im super pissed i didnt get to go

i want to go tomorrow but once again, i dont think any of my friends are willing or able to go, and i dont want to talk to myself for 2 and 1/2 hrs before i get there!!!
 
its well worth the drive. it was fun today, little crowded in the morning tho. we had 3 flat boxes and a down rail set up
 
icy. of course i chose my park skis which had no edges. one run top to bottom.

it was skiing. i had a good time. 3 boxes and one rail and lots of racers/teachers

Had a sick day up there. The first couple of runs were the best, as once the till got scraped off the ice, things got a bit slippery.

Three boxes and a down rail. They are set really close together, almost like a rhythm section or something, but make for a fun challenge.

It was awesome skiing with everyone that I met. Huge props going out to Will for hosting my roommate and I on his superbly vacuumed floor.

you threw your beer off the chairlift, and that my friend is not cool. You do not belong in the mountains if you're going to do shit like that.

great first day of broken ski bindings and collarbones on the ribbon of death. glad i wasn't working.

If they found some hikable at Stevens around Thanksgiving it should only be better after this cold front comes through. I heard Stevens got 7" last night and Baker had 12 over night. Mission got me a little fix and practising around on the rail was fun and challenging, I love working on my weak points and when you finally get a good one in, its addicting like hitting a golf ball perfect. It was nice to meet some of you and I'm sure everyone will be were its at all season. I'm always down to ride or partner up. And I agree on the litter bug, its bad enough we fill up mountains and our oceans but need to keep it contained, alot of people just leave their shit wherever and that shows what kindof consience they have. I had to force a guy to throw is beer bottle away at Alpy one day. I saw him ditch it and I yelled to him to pick his shit up and he tried to out run me after I picked up his bottled and chased him down lower International to the bottom , he tried to duck in the trees, I caught him at the bottom and told him he should be ashamed as I gave him his bottle back and pointed 20 feet away at the trash can , he threw it away and shut his mouth, I'm glad he wasn't some hard ass that could of whipped my ass but I was wiling to take the chance. If you see that shit its our duty to say something to them to keep "at least" our playgrounds clean.
 
You are my hero. Fighting crime, fixing trucks, selling houses, raising kids and having a family, and still skiing with no poles and killing it.

I only hope I can be half as cool as Jared when I'm older.
 
Thanks man, I thank my creator everyday for my existance and the ability I was given. I hope to ride rails as cool as you by the end of this season, that's my goal along with many moves on the jumps. Most the time I feel like woody the doll on toy storey, out of control and stuck to the ground, but every year is another level of ability acheived.
