missing friends

has anyone else had a close friend move away? a friend of mine left this summer we were really close and i just got off the phone with her after about an hour. it was sad to talk about 'old times' and stuff like that. how do you guys deal with this sort of thing?

Think about the future, have a ski trip with the person, have a blast when it's over look forward to the next one! And Smoke a J for those 'Old Times'!

thanks man, she doesn't ski though. but yeah i think i might make a trip to see her or she might come back here to visit friends, i don't know though.

Wow, I got off the phone with a friend of mine who was a girl, and we talked for about an hour, and she moved away last year. Freaky. Yah, it sucks horribly, but I'm used to it at this point, after having 8 move away. It doesn't sound that bad, but they've all been just about my best friends before they moved.

Girls don't like sensitive guys. Since I don't treat women like objects, I have to treat objects like women.

 
yeah we hung out all the time up until she left, i liked her so much too, and we were talking about that and whatnot, i guess i should stop complaining and deal.

Yah we had an exchange student who was the coolest guy ever, he was here for a year and he became best friends with everyone..especially me and my close friends..but he had to go back denmark and possibly never se him again

The only enemy agaist progression is FEAR!
 
yeah my best riend moved to england cause his gay dad tooka job for boeing there. It was liek 2 years ago and now hes moving to france for 3 years so basically i wont hardly see him again becasue ill go to coolege adn so will he so it sucks ass

My best mate left overnight in year 4, that was 8 years ago. Me and a friend tracked him down gradually, it took us 1 year to find him in FNQ (far north Queensland, Aust) and then another 2 years to find him in Littleton Colorado which is where he's been for the last 6 years. Only about a month ago I actually made contact with his brother and now they're back in Sydney. 3 years ago we got a number and it worked but his mum wouldn't let him speak to us. Their dad is a criminal (fraud). They owned an $8 million house when they lived near me before they left. Anyway they're back now but the dad isn't. It's fucked because it's not the kids fault they had no idea what was going on. After me and some of my (and the guy that left) mates are going to see him. They now have no money, dad is an alco. They had to come back because they kids can't work in the US because they aren't American citizens. JR, my mate who is the oldest is now 18 and 7 years was up (some sort of limit to how long they try to find people running from the law) so they're back.

 
^ shit that sounds pretty bad, almost reads a bit like a movie.

I got a friend that moved up to work on Hayman Island earlier this year and another who just left for England for a year and a half.
