On page 103 of the November Freeskier there's a picture of a jibber slam dunking a basketball. While I find the article amusing (especially the part about not shooting skiers that don't use poles), I feel the need to remind everyone of who really deserves credit for "bridging the gap" and "creating the sport that will bring us all paychecks." One name sums it up, PHILOU. There is footage of Poirer dunking a snowball into a basketball hoop in PBP's The Game. The event was also photographed and appeared in Freeze Magazine (RIP). Anyways, just thought people may find it interesting. Happy trails.
 
Oh yah... Candide definately slid over a basketball hoop a couple years ago now...

And come to think of it, there was one of the only "urban" set ups in Tanner's Believe this year, a basketball hoop drop/jib. Callum and Sean do some butter drops that are accompanied by Kya Bamba, the result, a segment worth rewinding...

This "most progressive trick in the history of skiing" has been done. I'm sure this was all in humor though. Anyways, I'm out.
 
i thought that was a joke. i could be wrong though, i always think ski mags are being sarcastic just because i cant comprehend them.
