Miss mount help

So last year I got my afterbangs centermounted with a 28.5. This year I moved up to a size 29.5 boot and wrote that I wanted my skis center mounted and put the note on my skis. My mom droped them off and picked them up the next day. She picked them up and the lady said that the tech only moved my heel piece and not both. I measureed and its a inch off. Is it worth the trouble to go back and say something?

if you do they will remount the toe piece and then slide the heel piece forward, this is probably the best idea considering abangs are symmetrical

he probably only moved the heel because with that small an increase in boot size, if both toe and heel were to move, the holes would be too close togeather, and eventually strip out... he did that so you binding wouldnt rip out of the ski, only thing i woulda done different is ask YOU the customer first...

ask the customer what exactly? if he didn't move the heelpiece, OP wouldn't be able to get into his bindings, AND lost a sale. lose lose situation.

the tech just did what he was supposed to do.

i woulda explained why i cannot mount center , the tech did the correct drilling, but is was not what the customer wanted...

I woulda just taken the 28.5 boots and blew out the toe :-P

Did the tech remount the heel or just slide it back? Honestly if it was me I would just slide the heel piece back and save the money.

what bindings are they. Unless they are fks, he should have been able to move the heal back 1 size unless it was already done before.
