Misfits anyone??

ive never heard them, but i know NOFX listen to them and idol them, sing about them heaps in their songs, dude so they must be cool, I WANNA LISTEN TO MISFITS!

but nothing even comes close to LAGWAGON!!!

man they rule.

 
I gotta tell you, and I'm sorry to say, the Misfits would saw the tops of lagwagon's skulls off and eat their brains for lunch. For real. The Misfits are one of the best Punk bands ever, with the catchiest songs. Walk Among Us is the best album, but Legacy of Brutality and The Collection are pretty cool, too. Check them out. Your Mom will be grooving to it if she doesn't notice the really violent sci-fi/horror lyrics.

The Misfits are amazing. The NEW Misfits, aren't all that grweat, not bad, but not great.But old school, Last Caress, skulls, I turned into a martian style Misfits, that is where it's at. And yes, the Misfits would MURDER lagwagon orwhatever.

Without Danzig they shouldnt be called the Misfits anymore. I saw them a year or so ago with GWAR which was a cool show to see i must say even though it will never be the same without Glenn

its weak that you say a band is good because someone else did and you havent even heard them. you are allowed to have an opinion, and YOURS works better than someone elses usually

The misfits are legendary though, I find it amazing that people dont know who they are. I was watching some dumb thing on MTV about 80s music and I noticed Bon Jovi was styling a misfits patch on a jacket, and i forget the other band but another cheesy hairmetal band had a guy wearing a misfits skull shirt. If bon jovi thinks they are cool, they MUST rule

please, open up past fat and epitaph record labels, there's much more out there. plus i'd like to say i'm kinda irritated by the misfits fan group, seems that every kid trying to be punk will buy a jean jacket (or dickies) and put a misfits patch on it along with the dead kennedys, ramones, sex pistols, rancid, and a couple other bands i can't think of right now. it's the generic band to like if you want to be 'true punk'. clarification: i am not complaining about the misfits or their music, merely their fan base.

kwoodhucka... ever consider, hey, maybe the kids like those bands a lot? There's a reason why they are what a lot of punks patch themselves after, is because they are one of the top punk bands.

oldschool misfits kick ass. I saw jerry only, marky ramone, and Diz from Black Flag the other night in Denver. It was badass. And Marky Ramone's bus was badass too!

lagwagon: burning heart is distributed by epitaph and is basically just a european division of epitaph. skierx-yes, ok some of those people really do like the bands, but all i'm saying is i've talked to some people that are all patched up and those are the only bands they know, they've never opened up to more...and a lot of them are just going for the image...
