Misadventure on berthoud pass

I picked up a hitchiking telemarker on berthoud pass this evening.

When I dropped him off, he apparently forgot to shut my ski rack (signaled that i was good to pull off and everything after unloading his shit). Didn't find out until people were flashing me with their hi-beams on 70.

Now I am missing a ski.

Those fucking degenerate tele skiers are always blazed out of their minds, you should never trust those pot smoking hippies.
 
We we're talking about meeting up to ski Cameron in the near future so we exchanged numbers. My phone was dead until I got home and I just sent him a text explaining the situation.

I'll update this again if he responds.

i'm picking up some skis tomorrow! (not brand new but still pretty awesome)

I would never expect hitchhiking telemark guy to come through like this. It just goes to show, you can't judge a book by its cover, I guess?

But really, I know only one tele skier and he is one of my favorite people

This sums it up quite well.

My Ski bin on my car can only close when its locked by key. Since the key is on my car keys, This cannot happen. Im sorry for your loss, but I did have a good laugh at 3:40am.
