now i have noticed that over the past few years mirrored goggles have become VERY popular. my question is, how many people really need them, i mean yeah i know that it does protect your eyes waaay more on sunny days butnot everywhere gets that much sun. i guess im kind of a hypocrite because i have mirrored lenses. but some people will go to extensive lengths to get them and i would like to know if this is just a pro trend or what?

I have different lenses for my goggles. Mirrored lenses help out soo much on sunny days. On cloudy days I will use a yellow or amber lens.

yea i've got a platinum mirror for my smith fuse on sunny days and rose copper for cloudy days

i use them because my friends like to look at themselves a lot and i'd figure i'd help them out

Mirrored is the shit. I wear mirrored aviators when I'm not skiing. Nothing like the opposition seeing themselves in your face... like a good friend once said "they're the lenses of intimidation".
