Yeah, the searchbar has no useful information. So I needed to make my own thread. I'm 15 years old, I get good grades, live in Washington State, but just got an MIP last night. I don't really want to tell the story until later, but right now I'm asking all you guys for what you know about how I can get this deferred, get my liscense on time, or what else the court is going to do. So all I need is information and help, don't be dicks, I fucked up and know it so just help me here. Thanks.

Take a class that the judge should refer u to anyways and go with your parents so it shows u care and your parents care aswell and let your parents do most of the talking it should do the trick and dont slouch or dress like a scrub!Good Luck bro!

I know when your a juvenile you can defer your sentence, if it is first offense, is there any way I can get my liscense when I turn 16?

I dont see why not its not a driving offense right? just do what i told u earlier in my first post and u should ace it all but you will still have to pay for court fees and the ticket though but after you do that and stay out of trouble for 6 months they will take it off your record!

Ok sweet. Well in Washington theres something about your liscense either being delyaed (don't have it yet) or revoked for a year.

most states if you get an underage drinking or a MIP(pot or booze) you can lose your license, since you dont have yours you could be prevented until a later date. but if you are nice, dress up for court, have your parents approval, and try to get into a program, you could it dropped to nothing but a fine.

good luck

that should be all u need man Japanada pretty much said what i said so now u just have to get your shit together and go to court man!

dress in a suit and tie, be respectful, don't argue, act like you a genuinely sorry, don't speak until asked to, don't interrupt the judge, etc. pretty much common sense

Dont sweat it bro even if they decide to keep it on your record its not gonna kill you you know i mean its just one of those things you live and learn from! Just dont repeat the mistake and you'll be fine!

i got an MIP when i was 17 and i lived in washington state. you go through a process called diversion: pay a fine, talk to a counselor for a day, and then stay out of trouble for a specified period of time or until you're 18 and it's expunged from your record.

well, since you are under 18, you might be in more trouble than you think. My advice, voluntarily attend AA meetings, alcohol safety classes, whatever - just do it. Plead not guilty too, cause you can work out a deal most of the time. I got one two months ago and cause I did all this extra stuff, they dropped the charge and made me do 24 hours of community service. but then again, i'm 18.

if you have your permit your gonna get that taken away for a while then you prolly will get some community service or some classes its just depends on what all happened

haha i thought you wanted to buy ninthwards. i got an mip when i was like 13 though and it was no big deal. a year of probation and some classes

No worries man, I've got plenty of advice. I just want to get off groundation, its really making me mad. But dude, we need to ski somehow.
