Minus Tanner, who do you think will have the best video segment this year?

Mark Abma, Ian Macintosh, Eric Hjorleifson, and of course Tanner. I'm stoked on Seth Morrison too, because he's been filming full time with tgr this year, and I'm stoked on Hugo Harrison making his comeback. Oh, almost forgot James Heim. Kye's got me stoked aswell.
 
Im interesting in seeing Sammy's segment, could be pretty fucking wild, skiing with massive and all of his incredible JOSS footage etc~
 
Wallisch...cuz he slays urban the pics from the trip he went on were unbelievable, Perron...cuz next to pep and the nimbus crew he is one of the most creative skier out there, and Harlut, I heard he sw 12 in the BC....plus he is the steeziest skier alive

yes. i think some people will be very very surprised. some of the shit he's gotten this season will blow your mind.

I recn Sage Cattabriga-Alosa is going to have a pretty epic seg in the new TGR movie. He was putting spins into some absurdly tech lines and i think he'll do it but even more and bigger for the new films. Also stoked on Wiley, Rainville, and Bibby in Turbo. I also think Tom We all know whoallisch will have a pretty absurd park/urban segment in Turbo. To top it off, the Petit brothers in the Massive and Tim Durtshi in everything he is in. Oh and Dylan Natale.
 
I think mark abma already challenges T for that. Although tanner is a better freestyler, I'd say mark is a better free rider.

I'm actually really really stoked for pretty much all of Journal. Charley Ager will blow minds.
 
I'm fairly confident Jon has the 'all around' crown- owns big mtn when he gets the chance, just as dominant in big air as tanner is in pipe, and now he's taking on the world of racing. I also think Candide would rip just as hard as Tanner in AK if he ever got the chance to step into that terrain. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Tanner fan these last couple of seasons, but he's not without equal.

Man I can't wait till the movies start comin out!
 
whoa whoa whoa, slow down here. Hearing many rumors thoughout this season, and seeing him ski at cooke city MT, wiley is and will be very impressive, like really
 
What makes you say that candide would be just as good as tanner? In my eyes, he needs to show and prove. And tanner is better than jon all around. Tanner skis some pretty intense shit, stuff that I'm not sure Jon would step up to. Jon skis some stuff in 7sd, but tanners lines in believe crushed Jon's.

for the record jon won the scandinavian big mtn championships in 2004, beating the likes of kaj zackrisson, sverre lillequist, jon larsson, stian hagen etc etc- all of whom would own tanner in AK. what does that suggest about jon and his freeriding skills eh?

and as for candide, if i have to explain, i dare say you'll never understand. candide is not human, he is a deity, so he doesn't have to show or prove shit. especially not to you. or me.

 
precisely. Jon is IMO the best all-around skier out there to date. And he's just all around what I want to be in life.

Candide is actually pretty good at big mountain, being french and all...he pretty much is up there with the skiing legends.

and tanner, sammy, and the MASSIVE are gonna kill it like biological warfare.
 
Tim Durtchi killed it all year... And he filmed w/ the master himself Kris Ostness. Jossi also got some insane footage at Park City w/ Ostness right before he got hurt. The Atomic video is going to be really good.
 
I guess I haven't seen Jon in the big mountains enough. And I'm not a fan of Candide. I just don't like watching him ski.
 
u may not like watching him ski- that's personnal preference, but you must appreciate what he has done in and for our sport no?
 
the ak crews..im pretty sure there was some pretty inovative shit that went down with those guys this year...my pick Sage
 
for backcountry for sure charley. his shit is crazy this year. if you like progressive backcountry that is. and im sure willey will impress as usual.
