Hey guys I found my moms old minolta 7000 maxxum in the attic and it doesnt work but theres a bunch of different lenses, filters and flashes. I was wondering if anyone knows if those parts will work with a new 35mm minolta camera body? if they do whats a good camera to get and how much will it cost me?

if you like the 7000 maxxum you can get it on ebay for like $125 and all the accessories will definitly work.

now if you want a newer camera you would have to give a budget because cameras go anywhere from $89 to thousands of dollars for cameras plus good lenses.

also is there any reason for wanting film camera? Digital may be a bit more expensive but you will spend less money developing film. If its because you want to play with exposure levels and such you can on most high end Digital SLRs

yeah all Maxxum cameras have interchangeable lenses.

I would recomend the Maxxum 7D the new version of your camera with tons of new features, digital, and those accessories should work.

It costs about $1600 with lens but once again you cant just say what camera should I get without giving a budget so what range are you looking to spend.

and have you tried bringing the camera to a shop and trying to get it fixed?
