Minnesota urban skiing

Looking for the spots is half the fun, plus people wont tell you many. Also, you might have a completely different view on a rail that you like that they didnt. I know level 1 use to take trips there, so theres defiantly potential

I think there's some sick stuff in Red Wing, down south, but I haven't looked too much. Duluth is a for sure spot, obviously, and probably a lot of cities along the river.

you could probably do some stuff at minnehaha park.

there is definantly some sick stuff in como park.

and then the sculpture gardens near downtown minneapolis, if anyone does this i will give them money

If you can't find rails in MN then you're not trying. Seriously there are so many it's unreal.

Dale talkington also was going to hit the huge down rail that is a like 30 foot drop off the side, buy got kicked out. I go to Eastview.

Minnetonka is crazy for urban (home of mn rail gardens), also that massive 5ft flat rail to like 35ft drop that Sean Jordan did a front 6 out of is right by Minnetonka high school, I feel like I'd die hitting it.

If you're in duluth i heard there's some really fun rails near piedmont elementary school. If someone is really quick if you're in superior. (wisconsin obviously) i've been eyeing up a rail thats right on the steps to cathedral church. You are almost guranteed to get kicked out though because the police station is less than a block away.

Can't go wrong with Duluth. It's on a hill so most spots have natural speed. There are so many spots downtown, and lots of schools, all of which have rails. Spots everywhere in the twin cities too. (obviously)

Are you from the minnetonka area? Where the fuck is that quad kink going down to a beach that was hit in Pretty Good? I actually accidentaly stumbled upon a thread about it in regionals before by clicking on a random page number, but forgot the lake name and didn't write it down :(

I'm from south minneapolis. I know the rail you're talking about.. is it green? I think it was in mutiny too. I have no idea where it is but some lake around the Minnetonka area would be most likely. I think shady oak beach has some quads, never been there though.

YES!!! Thats it!! Has the quad on the right hand side with the concrete patio on the left. Gracias Amigo now I will have done every quad in the area that I know of!! Been wanting to hit it for years but I just don't know the west metro at all. It seems like we have hit all the major spots in the city and east metro (where i'm from) so this year we're gonna go explore that area I think.

the shady oak rails are super sick. you have to jump a fence though so you could get in trouble for trespassing. its worth it though

Biggest problem I've had with urban is that I can't find anyone who lives near me who's down to go to an urban spot. Everyone i call has this misconception that they have to throw down on the rail (so they puss out of going) when all I want is for them to pull the bungee, then I'd pull for them if they wanted hits. If there was an easier way to get speed than a bungee I'd love to know.

Both of those seem harder than a bungee :( But I'm thinking of making a system of pulleys with a quick-release mechanism so I can pull a bungee way back by myself, so I don't have to make two people go through a hell of a workout. Going to Home Depot tomorrow.

Looks like I'm not hitting shady oak because everyone wants to hit it now.. Find some new fresh spots and tryn avoid hitting the played ones.

I shall try to hook you up with some untouched rails in minneapolis. The one I hit in the pic I posted earlier was untouched, super sticky at first. Took some filing but soo worth it.
