Minnesota Ski Areas

I'm from So Dak and I might be going to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities next fall and Im wondering what are some good ski areas in the area
 
Well you'll have quite a few to choose from. Afton, Wild mountain, trollhaugen, and hyland hills are all within 50 minutes of the cities and offer decent (for the midwest anyway) skiing.

Personally i would recommend Hylands if you're into park skiing. Its got tons of jibs, the best jumps in the cities, and its closer than the others.
 
if you wanna go for a drive duluth your gonna have spirit mt and starting this year mount du lac. mount du lac is getting 21 new rails and a tow rope.
 
very much so! i hope it all works out with them. the competition could give spirit a wake up call making two fun ski areas in duluth!!
