my high school (edina) has like 20 rails ranging from easy to very difficult. the easiest is a 15 ft. down rail, the next it a 20 ft. klink rail. and lastly a 30 kink 100 stair rail (fucking insane, undo-able). all have good inruns and landings. pm me for pics. the only thing is theres security on gaurd sometimes.

mack dawg productions filmed just about all of their urban rails in the twin cities area last winter. minnesota is or soon will be a very hit up and played out handrail hotspot.

i live near excelsior and there is a flat down flat of like 15stairs and then just a down 15 stairs too

after having spent four weeks of my life in st paul, minnesota is fun and cool but all y'all ski punks should move out west and find out what skiing is really about. natural mountains over urban metal any day of the year.

if anybody knows where golden valley is, that where i live. A really nice urban for first timers (like a 25 foot down rail). And some relly sick longboard hills right by the rail for the summer.

man its not like were just gunna pick up our shit and move out west. midwest is cool because we work with what we have and dont gloat at the big mountains we have and half the time dont even use them. dont take what you have for granted man.

i suppose it depends on the type of skiing you like to do. if you're a jibber and enjoy jumps and rails primarily, you wouldn't need the whole mountain anyways. however, if you're more into mountaineering, touring/trekking backcountry skiing and you are dedicated to the pursuit of it, then your only option would be to move to the mountains whether out west, down south or across the pond. it depends on your brand of skiing and your devotion to it.

screw hills, you don't need them for skiing. All you need is a car, some plywood to prop up on the car (inrun), and some buddies with shovels.

Iberg filmed Phil hitting the rail behind our elementery school (countryside) in Spun. Go check that out...it's in Edina and it's a huge kinked rail.
