ok first off you either need a firewire/ieee card/port, or a usb card/port. Firewire is better. Now you need an editing program. If you have a mac then you can use imovie, if you have a pc you'll want to download, or buy a program. Now depending on if you have a firewire or a usb port, drive down to best buy and say, I have a DV cam and a ______ port where are your cabels. You might want to take your camera as some of them have different ports(6 or 4 pin) Buy the cable, hook it up to your camera and computer. Run the editing program and then use the programs help to figure out how to capture video.
