do mini disc's skip while you are skiing or are they fine cause i don't want to buy one and find they skip like a biatch.

i have a sony mz-n707 and it doesnt skip at all when i ski. dont worry, it will be fine. I can jog with mine and it doesnt skip.

I have that same one and it has NEVER skipped on me, even during long runs with it in my pocket.

Get one with netMD for sure though, it makes ripping songs SO much easier.

only problem with netMD is the security, you cant bring new files onto your computer, or give people songs to put on thiers. The song has to have orginated from your system..ach

yeah, that works, but you cant take your MD player to someone elses computer and upload those songs to them. Also, if someone gives you a minidisc with music on it..or even recorded voice etc , you cant save it onto your computer.

mine came with 2 carrying pouches. i double bag em with those for padding, then put it in my schest pocket. Thats seems to do the trick.

Uh, I have never ever had mine skip. I forget what model it is, too lazy to go out to my car and look, but its like the MZ900 or something like that (I think?).

I just keep mine in my inside coat chest pocket, I have never had any problems with landing on it or anything.

sometimes i try to delete a track and it says TrPROTECT...what the hell is that? how do i unprotect a track?

4 mins for the whole disc

The tr protect thing is one of the gay things about the included NetMD softwae/security. You have to leave it on there until you do a full erase of the disc... or try deleting it through the software instead of the player

it took me like 2 hours to get it all.

but thats also cause i had to upload playlists, then i did every song 1 by 1, cause some wouldnt work

but im still happy with the md.

MD sucks, get an MP3 player. I have a Jukebox3. Hold 20 gigs of music and never skips. You can also transfer a song in like half a second with Firewire. It also has EAX technology and 22 hours of battery life with 2 batteries.

i got a mini disk b/c i cant dowload a song in under an hr.

i have had mine stop, but not skip, when i land hard if HOLD isnt on. i think the stop button keeps hittin something in my coat.
