only get one if I'm allowed to borrow it! hehe, nah, they're sweet as. I used a mates one for ages skiing one season, it was great to have it. They're so small and the discs are small also, good sound, lots of music on a disc, they're great really! Get one! totally'!

yeah ive got the sony mzn 505, its the shit, i put 5 cds on one md in like 45 minutes, it records so damn fast and it never skips

Jacket front breast pocket is all good. Or if you're wearing a pack chuck it in the top pocket. This protects it real well but is a bitch if you gotta change track lots or wanna ff/rew etc. I've got mates who've made little boxes for them out of aluminium and padded the inside a bit. They work real well, can yardsale 'em as much as you want and it's all shibby.

breast pocket works super good, but i find it moves around a lot, annoying at times

the thing that's cool about the apple ipod is that it's not just mp3.. it's all media. think about the possibilities in the future. u can have all sorts of music, movies, etc etc on it.. plus it's the size of a big pen. my buddy has one, and it's goddam amazing.
as for where i put my md when riding, it's usually in my pants pocket.. not the cargo ones, but the ones on the hips. if u bail, there's little chance that you're gonna smash it up. i definitaly ate shit all the time this year, and never caused any harm to the md.
