It was a shitty attempt. The jump wasn't good enough but I knew if I didn't do it I would never live it down. I should have been able to do it. Idk. Maybe next time.

Ok, now let's say that (going from right to left) each stage of rotation has a number. The one furthest to the right is stage one, the second furthest to the right is two, and so on.

Now, look at stage three. As you can see, the skier's face is BELOW his body, meaning that if he were to land in that position, his FACE would be PLANTED into the snow. We, here in the freeskiing community, call this an "under-rotation", and it explains how Mingg$ was able to faceplant whilst attempting to complete a backflip on skis.
 
How did you get so rekt? I've underrotated tons of backflips and landed on my head and never got very hurt, and that one seemed to be done in pow

Ok I guess she got so hurt becuase of landing straight on her chest? What kind of injuries? I've tried switch 3's and had a much similar outcome, shit hurts knocking the wind out of you. But there were residual injuries?

This is probably the nicest thing you've ever said to me. Thank you dude! I pretty much had to do it there cause it was the best we could find. And I wasn't not going to do it because I would have never lived it down. But now I'm concussed and broken hahahahaha

Fuck Yeah! Much respect to you (and your big balls) for sending it! I've seen A LOT worse first attempts. You totally got it next time. You still gotta show the haters what's up and stomp it soon (it will feel so good). Happy and quick healing.
 
Ballsy as just for trying it on a jump that small. I watched it a few times, the set was sweet, the rotation was sweet, you were just fucked from the moment you dropped in through no real fault of your own. You can see where your tips unload and it completely stalls the rotation.

You'll nail that next time you throw it off a suitable-sized jump.

Yeahhh I sorta knew that going into it. SJW told me after some speed checks it wasn't gonna be enough. We looked around all day and could find no good place to do it. But I knew if I didn't I wouldn't have heard the end of it soooo yeah. So I did it anyways haha. Now I'm broken😂 but at least no one is calling me a pussy anymore
