Minecraft just broke my heart

I got this game in the fall and have been playing it on and off. I built the most epic tree house i have ever seen. Straight up enormous. I would go on describing it, but it hurts too much. About an hour ago, i accidentely burned it down, the whole damn thing. son. of. a. whore.
Thought i would share my sorrow.

I feel your pain my friend.... Was mining found like 12 diamonds. black screened and all the blocks i destroyed respawned and i was crushed to death.

the other day i built a mansion that took me 5 hours and built a fireplace with a lava block in it, before i could put the glass on top of it it burned my house down : (

Basically it's a pixelated infinite develpoment game where you build and create a world for yourself or you can play on a server and build with ffriends. There's a minecraft cult.

that's pretty cool. sounds a bit up my alley but i think building skate 3 parks then shredding them will keep my desire to lazily build shit and do pointless stuff to relax satisfied

It happened to me also. I raged quit and haven't turned it back on in 3 months. Now that I look back i'm happy it happened.

That bullshit happens to me all the time. I got to bedrock once and I built stuff on top of lava and it black screened so I was like no big deal went back on and I was surrounded and deficated on by lava... Darkest day of my life

That's why my house is built mostly out of stone, glass, and lava:

holy crap, I just played minecraft for the first time in months to nab that screen shot... and played for an hour before remembering what I had come to do. There's an intensely intricate cave system with an awesome lava mine down below... it actually takes about 5 minutes to get from the main cave to the surface... and there are hours worth of caves to walk around in from there. And I've still only ever found 2 diamonds. FUUUUU

This thread made me play again, just made a lava waterfall which goes from the highest you can go down to the lowest you can go. Then I dug out a trench so you can stand half way between the two and look from the bottom to the top. TOOK FUCKING AGES...

I'm going to keep this on the first page until it's a multi-pager. Then all of NS will behold the wonders of Minecraft. Thus giving the Minecraft cult new life.

Mining. fell into hidden lava pit. lost dimond pick, dimond sword, dimond helmet, about 128 coal, 53 steel among other things. wateve i can rebuild. so i grab my spare dimond pick axe and go back in. boom creaper

Okay, so I was sick for two weeks and decided to give this a go and here are some results, I'm not gonna play again anytime soon.

I made a rollercoaster from the top of the world to the bottom and it comes back up with turbos and it has a large portion of it under the sea, which you can see through a glass tunnel. Then on top of my house you can also see my GLASS SUICIDE TOWER.

Here's a view from the tower. I built it 3x4 and then a shaft all the way down...with one block of lava. What a way to go at sunrise.

Loaded the game yesterday and entered my world with my pyramid (pics below). Instantly fell off the side and died. FFUUUU.
Also, never, EVER build a fucking pyramid this huge.

Yes. And no, i'm not using an inventory editor. Heres a screenshot from today (I've been home sick so I've made a little progress, probably about a week since that last picture.)

I legitimately do not know. I would say a month and a half but there was probably a week long break. Average of an hour a day then I'd say. I also play a shitton of tf2 so it's not like I'm playing minecraft for 3 hours a day

Any computer that can use the Java plugin for a browser will be able to play minecraft. This goes for those of you that use Linux as well.
