Mind=blown

when you open your eyes in the dark and you're about to go where there is light (i.e. when you wake up in the middle of the night to take a piss), keep an eye closed when youre in the lighted area. When youre back in the darkness, youll see that the eye you closed has retained its ability to see in the dark = no more bumping into random furniture and shit.
bonus culture points : thats why a lot of pirates are pictured wearing eye patches. NOT because they lost an eye, but because they kept an eye in the dark so they could quickly see in the darkness of the inside of the boat when they had to go get shit in there.

look at the enlarged picture. it's an illusion. You can't see a true horizon. You see where the buildings end, then outside of that you can see fields, then in the far distance you can see hills.

i've been up there quite a few times, and on an exceptionally clear day with a perfect horizon, you can see a slight, almost unnoticeable curve. otherwise, nothing.

if you are using ear buds, press them into your ear to make it sound like there is more bass, and cup your hands around your ear against your head to make it sound like there is more treble.

Yeah but I honestly didn't know that... It's mindblowing because I didn't know they got inspiration for the nunchuck from the n64 controller.

numbers are cool.. that's actually a whole sequence thing with numbers only containing one's:

1x1=1

11x11= 121

111x111= 12321

1111x1111= 1234321

11111x11111= 123454321

etc

Back in the middle ages, the punishment for a thief caught stealing was not, contrary to popular belief, to cut the hand. Actually, the authorities would cut off the ear for a first offense. Missing an ear, the criminals would let their hair grow to cover the nasty sight. And this is why, to this day, that there is still a certain negative opinion about men with long hair. (there was also the whole hippie with long hair thing, but it really originated from the middle ages)
