Those hyper-realistic pencil drawings remind me of Chuck Close's work. The pic below is actually a drawiing.

I used gimp to see if the colours were the same and they are pretty much the same. There's a slight difference, but it's not as drastic as when you see it with the naked eye.

You do not need to use anything, that line along the right side is there so you can see the solid color through out

you guys are all dumb, that vertical line on the right side connects the same colored bands within the blue and green spirals.

the blue =/= the green exactly, its the greenish colour in both of them

it's the same thing. exactly.

both are hex code 00ff99

or if you want:

R:0

G:255

B:153

exactly exactly the same. both of them.

green:

yeah thats what i was trying to explain when i was talking about the blue-green shit. nvm. i get it though

But the two ends are soldered together. Almost like it's a circle but in a straight line. That probably doesn't help much but it wouldn't just land on the ground since it's one big connected rod now.

It would fail at every point.

If we want to get all serious and shit about this then the theory states, in one way or another, for this to even come close to existing, then the "portals" would be two infinitesimally dense regions of mass. Regions, not points, with a great enough mass to bend space time. This could, supposedly, connect 3 dimensional space.

So basically the mass of those two regions would bring them together as one region, and the pole or whatever would just get squeezed and succumb to the, now, one region of infinite mass and finite volume.

I never really gave this area of astrophysics a great deal of attention. It seems like a pseudoscience to me with really arbitrary math behind it. Math taken from other respected areas of the field.

Regardless this is just some illustration by a guy with a very loose understanding of these "concepts". It's tom foolery!!!

The two ends are soldered together? Oh I thought they were just touching. If they were soldered together... thats a weird quesiton.dont think that would be possible.

Since there's a set amount of mass in the rod, that's going to be the same at the end. I'm pretty sure that moving a portal would disconnect the rod from itself at a point, and it would become something like the rod it was at the beginning, but now with a soldered joint in it.

Not really. My physics teacher explained this to me last year. You don't actually lose 40 minutes you are just seeing something else for forty minutes.
