yo just a couple questions:

1. Do i have to pre register or can i just show up at like 9 and register then?

2. I'm only sixteen so do i need a parent to come and like sign some waiver for me allowing me to kill myself? or can i just hitch a ride with a friend cause thats what i plan on doing right now?

3. Anyone know what hte set up is gonna be like?

as with any comp i've ever been to, i'd imagine you will need a waiver signed by a guardian. usually it can be printed ahead of time and signed in front of a notary if your parents cant make it up to the mtn with you. also, this is probably another snowboard only thing, but i could be wrong...
 
i entered last year..i got 3rd..the setup was a downrail and a box..it was ok but the skiers got thrown in with boarders or something i forget but it was a fun jam..

rightfully so, it's a snowboarding shop, cool that they let the skiers at least participate. Skiers should go and show the riders whats up!

and i agree, it is a snowboarder event, but its still fun and its riding so heey.

haha i would nick but i have to hang out with the girl..its either i ski at a rail jam and get her to go with..or leave her at home and have to hear about it for a while..
 
first, its warm as hell up here(shorts and tshirt in burlington)...killy is gonna close today until the 14th i belief. I don't even think there is snow at mt. Snow right now.
concerts and snowboard movies this weekend.

and yes, fuck wisp. Have fun driving 2 hrs from harrisburg to DC to sesh a flat box! haha but they did give out a pair of skis for first on the saturday session.
 
i had fun at m and m's last year but I want to try something different..from what papa said its a flat down box and two other features..plus im trying to ride..not only get a 30 min chance..
 
That info is directly from Mike at Wisp. Unless he changes something at the last minute that is what he is planning on hauling down.
 
it sucked.

it was a sticky 10 ft flat rail that you had to wait 10 minutes to drop and by the time girls went in heat 5 there was no snow left, it was just mud and there was no speed. and it just sucked. good thing i was wasted or else i wouldn't have had fun.

wisp had a shitty setup but we made it work and it turned out to be fun..

they had one inside and outdoors and was fun like i said
 
word... so under the radar.. those guys that had the dry slope did some filming on Sunday - I should have nips make an edit from saturday and you guys rippin it to shreds.
