Mike Douglas a lame announcer?

He was put in a tight spot.. I wasn't thrilled with him either, but he was calling a big air contest on basically live TV... where 90% of the field threw the same ish... not much you can do.
 
I know everyone has an opinion about the big air comp but personally, anyone else not really feelin Douglas' vibe on the comp? I feel like he repeated the same 8 lines over and over. About going big, not grabbing enough and not throwing a 10. I don't blame Douglas for what he was saying cause he was partially right. But the whole comp (have to throw a 10 or more to win is kinda lame). i dont think Rainvilles cork 3 should've placed at all, but the whole huck to win is pretty shitty. if rory's double back was landed clean, I think he should've taken top 3 at least. progression is key, but the comps are holding some of it back..
 
yea i was sittin there, thinkin how annoyin it must be. because he has to take out his own opinion and speak for the X Games and be fair.
 
fuck X games, that comp was the biggest let down ever. how the fuck did some of those sw 10's with weak grabs (i wont get into names) beat Laurant favre's sw 7... then you got the announcers acting like the only way to win is by hucking a sw 12 on a 60ft table... if thats what the judges are looking for then we need new judges... and no one even acknowledged charles spinning both sw 10s.
 
the x games were a serious let down, no doubt. Between the horrible judging and having to listen to mike douglas and his stupid comments....yuck. Did anybody catch Douglas saying someone traveled, "well over 100 feet" ? he's a jackass, and that whole comp. was such a bummer....oh well. it should've been slopestyle, not just a switch 10 fest.
 
He's not gonna come out and say the judges are idiots, even if they are, he got to call what they are gonna judge on or DOuglas ain't commentating again
