That switch backflip was RIDICULOUS. I've tried landing switch on water skis before and it doesn't work so well after about 2/3 of a second.

its all about the bindings. skis are obviously important but without good bindings your done

they are reverse cambered and rockered, so tois quite tricky to catch an "edge" on water skis

coming off a ramp traveling in pretty much the same direction as the boat has got to be a lot different than coming across the wake... lots less edge catching involved... although that is still nuts.
