my friends and i are probably heading out to whistler the beginning of may. how's the snow situation? is the big/XL/highest level/awesome park still gonna be kicking by then? skiing down to the base? fill me in friendly neighbors to the north!

hate to break this to you, but whistler's closin early man. recent rain+sun is causin problems n whis are laying off winter staff already and you literally can't ski a run without running into grass.

Blackcomb will be like normal (so the XL park will still be awesome) unless it keeps raining....

i hated you for a second. then i scrolled down. talked to a friend who was driving home from whis today and he said everything was still kickin. hopefully it's still good to go once i get there. if any of you NSers are of drinking age and wanna hit up some bars in whistler, we're down for some tour guides for sure.

dude. its the best time to go. unless you get raped by that stupid fog band that hovers right in the park area or it rains, its the best time of the year to ski their park.

highlevel is super soft and the place is pretty much empty. plus hotel rooms are dirt cheap and boat loads of hood rats from seatle come up to party on the weekends, so there no lack of girls.
