I was thinking, Why doesnt the Midwest Michigan, Indiana, and Minnesota get the credit they deserve in the ski world?

 
i think they do, people just give 'em crap for the ice and gapers. A lot of esteemed skiers come from the hearty midwest
 
Skied tonight at hyland, wasn't all ice for once, crowds were low (literally me an 4 others). And I got to see hibbs hucking some of the stuff from that gopro edit he recently put out. Twas a good time.
 
Im gonna have to say the midwest is pretty fun skiing. Its a bunch of small hills with sick parks. The closest hill from my house is 15 minutes away and another 25 and another 30. And most have tow ropes to get the 10,000 laps you need to get the new tricks in quicker. Not only that but theres urban everywhere.
