I was just thinking...why the fuck is what we know as the midwest called the midwest? all the states that compose the 'midwest' are either dead central or mideast...what the fuck? from here on out states such as wyomoming, colorado, etc are now to be refered to as the midwest, because they fucking are! BITCH.

i think it isn't based on land area, but rather on the politcal map. there are more states on the east, therefore the 'midwest' is skewed that way. EIther that or its because the world isn't flat (gasp) so it is skewed. One of the two

i think it's because back in the day when the country was still expanding the midwest was actually the midwest. Then we went farther and farther west and it got crazy.
