I thought Farmers Almanac said it would be a badass winter in the midwest, all of the hills are delayed. Im DONE.

The farmers alanac is a 100% guess. My resort has opened in January the last 2 years. We are still ahead of schedule lol.

Dude. You live in the midwest.... It's not even December yet. It will get cold and hills in the midwest will be able to make snow eventually.

Troll is open, Granite opens this Saturday. This is like any normal year. We're going to get dumped on with natural snow this year... snow on the ground for Thanksgiving is a great sign.

i think this year will be normal- for lower michigan it will hopefully be right on christmas time and for north michigan it will be a bit after thanksgiving- i know a few places up north that are managing to open for a few days this week

warm lake michgan i think is going to be a big factor- also heavy snow back and cold weather in siberia means for a lower more south bending jetstream allowing cooler air. But i think it will be a really average winter temp wise with a bit above average snow-

the 2012-13 winter i think was the crazy one where michigan had 30 inches in november of fresh which is unheard of.

My standard of crazy winter will always be compared to that one

this is all bro ski science tho lol

Areas in northern Minnesota already have 2 feet of snow. I've been out on snowmobile rides already on old forest roads. Lutsen opens today and spirit will open up next week. Most small areas in the state are already open or are opening tomorrow.

Its still november and winter is turning on in the upper midwest already and slowly clawing down to the lower portions of the midwest. It has been pretty normal if you ask me, still a little above average but nothing we have not seen before.
