although Midwest Superpark at Marquette Mountain on april 17th and 18th is NOT an invite only competition/jam, the event organizers have selected the following skiers an invite who will recieve special superpark treatment(more info TBA). the invites were determined by this seasons major competition results.

Yeah, and if you are considering The Midwest Extreme SEries thinger i got first in the overall series for the Pro Rail division, and a few other Freezing Point riders did realy well. it'd be kool if we could get up there.

Have somebody give me a call on FRI at the SKI hill so I can get some input to who won the large comps and stuff and we will give a couple of invite spots.

According to Yahoo Maps its only 10 hours from L-Burg to Marquette MT. so i added a couple hours for the bus since it doesn't go all that fast... even at 55 thats only like 12 hours though. I could be mistaken but thats what the maps tell me. Either way, it was discussed today and we'll be up there unless things drastically change. We're also gonna hit up the Spring Board Meeting so if you all see the bus come say howdy. And just so its known the FP crew is all about just having a good time so we probably won't get into any of the contests, just chillin' and ridin', PLUS we have at least 2 birthdays on the SBM weekend so we expect to be partying hard.... hope to see you all at either place.

Thanks for the mature statement. Do i need to post links to many other threads on the midwest forum to show that the marjority of peopel here agree that comp placings do not show skill.

Hell, last year when i was still in the midwest competing i did pretty well in comps, beat all my friends in the bigger comps, yet still know they are way better than me.

dave1080, growa fucking shred ofcommon sense. if you knew anythin going on in this forum, the vast majority of the comps won in the lower pen of michigan this year has been won by a corked 9, thats gay, and not skill. joey r can do a corked 9, and a corked 10, thats it, ask him to do anything else. i've honestly seen him do less than 5 tricks all year longin more than 10 different comps.

Sorry about the invite list. This was originally supposed to be a culmination of certian contests in the midwest and be the 'finals' of competition for us this winter. Thus we invited people from qualifying events that placed well. Other people can most likely ski better than some of those invited but we had to go off of something, and not just invite everyone and their uncle. In the end this event is more of a spring party with a huge perfect terrian park that we can ski with all our midwest homies and have fun. People invited will get slightly special treatment......repeat, slightly. The main goal is to get a huge turnout and have fun skiing. Everybody is 'invited'

comp placings are not everything, i placed at 7 out of 10 comps, winning 3 of them, and im not invited. and i didn't do a corked 9 every fucking time, doing a corked 9 every time isnt skill, its faggotness.

let me remind you.....THIS EVENT IS NOT A COMPETITION, it is a fun jam seesion inwhich we will all get drunk and be merrery on skis while defying gravity.

Well if were talking about placings then Kyle Decker should be added to the list due to his nastiness on rails, not to mention he has won a few comps this year. Drew Hoffman has also won a couple rail comps with his 270 on to unnatural to 270 out on the flat bars. He is pretty sick in the air as well. Better yet, you might just want to invite anyone from Ohio. Peace.

If anyone in this argument has a problem with the list, give me the results from a MAJOR comp in your area, and i will personaly add the top three to the list. what i mean by major, is a comp that was somewhat dificult to win.

Marquette Mountain does not support the special treatments provided by one said individual, but does support the specail treatment from all the little freshman girls that will be at the event.

We have been publiciing all over campus so if you want to look at girls and ski better get your game on
