I am wondering about competing, I am still developing in the park....i can throw down switch and normal 3's and only reg 5s and 1's, I am pretty solid at rails but i am still working on the down rails.... I am 15 so i dont know what age group I fall under but should i compete because if kids are throwing switch 7's and 9's I will save myself the embarrasment

dude...its not about that at all...

so i can do some pretty decent tricks, but nothing compaired to what alot of kids will do at the massacre...but i am going to compete anyways..

i just want to have fun with a bunch of skiers throwin their best stuff down...and being there pushes me...and its just plain fun...

to me comps are all about the fun of getting everyone together and see what tricks everyone has in their bag...

i've never won before...but i've always had a fun time :)

i say do it. its always fun!

I absolutely agree, if you don't do comps for fun then what's the point. Have fun, see where you end up.

it would just be my first comp and I am just nervous that i would do like a switch 3 and eat shit and get all pissed off

i can almost gaurentee you that if you are nervous or think about it...that you will fall on a trick...

just dont think about it at all, bring some tunes man...

and like i said its all about the fun...

its just another day in the park...thats all a comp is.

I was scared as hell to do my first Big comp. I knew i wasn't as good as everyone else i still did it and had a blast. and that was MS03 back in the day.

a crew of like 7 mqt kids might hit cascade on the way out to colorado... well see how theyre park looks

i was hoping for a 40+ footer or something but i just was afraid they would have a 65-70 footer and i would puss out on it and look like a d-bag in the comp

iam sure they have enough snow to last atleast a week or 2 of warm weather and a little rain. sometimes rain helps.

what rain it hasn't rained just was warm. its soppesed to snow this weekend anyways. Looks like there making snow right know too. I'm sure everything will be just fine. for it

6 trips altogether to either Orlando or Vegas. Your choice. One for skier big air, rail jam and 1/4 pipe, as well as snowboarders. If enough girls go they'll get something legit. Also, Liberty Skis sponsored it so they're given out some skis. And I would love to make it back for it, but I don't see if happening.

Ok update.... The park is holding up awesome, sick setups right now. As far as the comp knows i'll tell you what I know.

-Prizes like he said 6 sick Trips, skis, about 16,000 in products!!!!

-You get B-ball jerseys for bibs and you get to keep them, totally balla!

-New RedBull Stair set for the jam plus other rails... gonna be rediculously rediculous!

-No age groups if theres enough Betties they'll get there own division with some legit swag.

- As far as Booters for the Grande Air I think they're gonna have 2 hits but don't quote me on that. Idk about the size they should definitly be more than 30 feet thats for sure more around 50+ easy. One hit should be "creative so we arent seeing the exact same thing on each hit" Sick stuff shall be thrown down... inverts encouraged :)

-I have no fricken clue whats going on with the 1/4, i just know they took out the one we had and are building one farther down the hill.

-DJ all day for a rockin' day of skiing!!!

- Lot's and lots of vendor tents, 20+ last I heard

-RedBull will be on hand to keep us refreshed while the shredding occurs.

-Free stuff will be thrown out during the day... probably some stickers, t-shirts, general swag, etc.

-Oh and so all my fellow twin tippers can come prepared... Helmets are REQUIRED!!! Trust me they will not be happy if you try to hit their features without a helmet during the comp... it doesn't need to be buckled or even really functional... just have some molded plastic on your nogin and you'll be set. Other wise you get to wear some sweet rental helmets :/

Now remember, I am not an employee but this is the information that I have gotten from all the employees I ski with, I'm out there all the time and I'll try to keep you updated on the snow conditions and what not.

Got any questions? If, so I'll try and find an answer for you asap.

Everyone needs to attend this event it's going to be the biggest this to hit the midwest since cheddar cheese. I'll be out there having a jolly good ol' time in my White Oakley outfit with 07 fujatives and a black helmet. Come say HOWDY!!! Oh I might pull out the pink one piece idk yet, we'll see

OH IT'S DUMPING RIGHT NOW! Weather looks good for the end of the week so far!

Okay I'll stop typing now :)
