It is way too warm in the midwest right now...especially Wisconsin. All of our snow is melting. Fuck global warming. Anyone out there who is from the midwest and is sick of our shitty snow, please, feel free to comment on this subject.

its sucks in indiana too. not global warming though, that shits fake. colder temps by the end of the week it looks like though so thats cool

move out west, thats what i did. I heard Marquette is getting some sweet rain... im so over midwest wather shinnanigans.

hopefully il be somehwere out west for college, but thats in 2 and a half more years...yesssssssss

I love being a midwest skier, but i hate when our weather gets like this, all the snow is so shitty

we had a thunderstorm in Petoskey/Harbor Springs today... the snow at Nub's is going to suck for about a week. the snow at Boyne Highlands and Mountain is going to suck all season, so don't even bother going there. stupid midwest weather...

thanks, Reed... that helps me a lot right now. do you really think i'd still be here if i had the money to move out west? i've kinda been payin for school...

btw, no hate, just jealousy.

word, the Smith limo was at Nub's yesterday and we were all hiking it in our t-shirts... spring skiing is about four months early right now.

Climate change is real...but please think about your statements. Hopefully it cools down up at Lambeau though, so Farve can get to work.

ummm yeah. just cuz theres a normal temp for the time of year it doesnt mean its gonna stay there everyday. we've also had days much colder than normal this winter too but nobody says global cooling. its fucking weather patterns. the average high here is something like 40 but most days its not 40. thats b/c its an average. some years much warmer, some much cooler. even if global warming were real u cant blame every little stretch of warm weather on it, thats retarded

but global warming is an existing problem that needs something to be done. From what i have seen, last year we had a similar problem occurring in the early season for about 2 weeks and 5 green Christmas's in a row , same situation here but later in the winter. im not saying were not getting enough snow, but the temperatures in the winter seasons are fluctuating, our winter is being chipped away by us. im sure this topic will be brought up many times in the next 50, as withing those years global warming will most likely show us its true african american colors.

since Nub's Nob was able to open 100% of their terrain earlier this year than ever before, i'd say that global warming has little-to-nothing to do with our present spring skiing conditions. chances are, and i know i'm going out on a limb with this out, our shitty conditions are due to the fact that we live in the midwest. yeah, sit down or that analysis of the situation will make you pass the fuck out. who knew... shitty winters in the midwest. what an odd concept...

hey i dont get why all of you are bitching. we had record snowfalls in december. one warm weekend aint gonna kill it all. I still have snow at our house.

chris. there was a fucken tornado today. tornado in fucken winter time. when does that happen? apocalypses. i shouldent have bought those skis. i knew it was a curse.

yeah the season so far has been great...but i live on the east coast where we usually have some shitty weather but nothing like this. we just lost like 2 feet of snow over the last 2 days...and we never have temperatures this high in early january unless the season is off to a late start. so yeah, with our season going from great to nonexistent in january, i'd probably say thats global warming.

ok... and anyone from the midwest will tell you that this weather is par for the course- we have a January melt every single year. you can keep jumping on the global warming bandwagon, but it doesn't have anything to do with what we're experiencing right now.

65 degrees here in rochester NY, our park is virtually gone and will probably be closed by the middle of the week and everything else is melting quicky...fuck

getting used to a yearly meltdown, still a few months left. The snowmobile trals were fun as hell on the dirtbike yesterday.

i heard one blew up wheatland, where were the others?

and you should all move out west. i did. i dont think i will ever ski the mot again.

global warming equals fake i saw a show on the discovery channel and this guy studies the layers of ice in antarctica and he says the earth just gets warmer and cooler by itself pretty much we need to worry more about the atmosphere than global warming and as of right now the polar ice caps are freezing at a greater rate than the have in many years

oh lord a warm up!?!?!?! ITS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE MUST BE GLOBAL WARMING........oh wait wed. we are supposed to get 2-5 inches of snow.a strong warm front moved up from the gulf its not unheard of at all. yesterdays high was 37 the record high was 57 in 2003. it gets warm it happens.

here in ontario its up to 15 degrees celcius not sure waht that is in farenhiet but its hella hot all our snow is gone and the hills are struggling to stay open

dont knwo if its global warmimg or if its not i just know that this is not suposed to hapen

Damn weather pattern shift.

65 here in Buffalo, NY. We shattered the record yesterday by 12 degrees, and hammered out another record today.

All the snow is gone, my hill is closed because the connecting trails are bare.

Luckily tomorrow is rain/snow mix and cold temperatures by the weekend so they can fire up the guns and touch everything up and get it all going again.

It's not Global Warming idiots. Its a hot front that is going to be here for like 4 days. Global Warming is a gradual, but overall, increase in the temperature. A short, sharp spike isn't global warmings fault.

Plus, About the same time we get the rediculous warm spell, out west is getting pounded with feet and feet of snow. Right...

It's just the weather, it'll get colder again here soon enough.

Its due to get colder as the week goes on. Just quit whining and count your blessings, much of the Midwest has an great winter so far. Besides, a mid winter thaw is part of our annual weather pattern. When have we kept the entirety of every inch of snow we get throughout the year?

Yup... still raining here in So. Wisco. There was a tornado yesterday in wisconsin.. wtf? It's january, I shouldn't be looking out my window and seeing hail and lightning and tornadoes.. I should be seeing some fucking pow. Wait... then again it is wisconsin.. we've gotten lucky on our snowfall this year so far though.
