ok, help me out.... im starting to think about what i'm gonna travel and hit up this season, and if i have time. these are the comps i can think of, any more, or any new? (no specific order)

MSO

midwest extremes

hootenany

springboard (or whatever its called now)

one or more at tyrol (names?)

one or more at highland (names?)

possible marquette last season?

crystal mnt.(name?)

and otherwise in the L.P.???

crystal mountains got quite a few. They will have sick rails this year once again. Check CrystalMountain.com for the details and Tyler Barnes, Btyler900 is gonna be helping set the park up this year for comps so talk to him once the season starts.

okay, i just gotta say...please stop making the FARP video things. Its cool if you wanna make them and all, but dont make a website about it etc. Or at least get better first. You are hurting the industry. When snowboarders see skiers like Fred and Randall doing stupid flailing 360 attempts 8 inches off the ground, they laugh there heads off, and skiing takes another blow. well, most of the comps wont start up untill mid-late januarary. Im sure by then, someone will have a huge list of every comp with all the dates in the midwest, i think teddy made one last year, it was really helpful...anyone wanna take this job haha?

what do you guys think of proposing this to Matt (Harvey):

to have a section like NS had for 'camps' , but 1 in each regional categories, and for comps.

^that would be kind of cool, to have like summaries of the comps and stuff. as for the contest calendar, paul does that on MidwestSkier.com.

 
there will also be a massive list of event on midwestskier for the midwest. premiers, comps, demos, might put on ski sales but probably not. should be sweet

The SNOWTRAIL (www.snowtrails.com) and PERFECT NORTH/ FP comps are sick (www.perfectnorth.com or www.fp32.com) Huge comps, good times and really good skiers. They also have rail comps the same day as big air comps. Make it to one of the two places this season at least once. I know snowtrails will have at least 2 comps, but i dont know about FP. Their comps are sick though. Last comp they had RED BULL there, but I didn't make that, damn it!! I'll be there this season.

 
yes perfect north is sick because the competitions are run through freezing point and not the resort so they have free reign to build what they like. snow trails is equally sick because they build huge hits and have sick jib comps and always have bands playing!

yes yes they are gavin the are sweet i was at the red bull comp but didnt compete cuz i had a broken arm but def in this year

the US National Ski Hall Of Fame is having a big air and rail jam at Marquette Mountain in march somtime
