Midweek Night Skiing for ON3P Demos in Burlington Area?

ON3P is finally sending our first East Coast demo fleet out. It looks like the demo fleet is going to be in the Burlington area in the middle of next week. Are there any resorts in the area worth setting up an evening demo in the middle of the week?

Due to lack of snow out in Oregon, we cancelled a demo trip into Canada and are instead sending a 2-person crew out to run the demos before passing all the skis to our NE Rep, who is going to continue demos for the rest of the season. I would like to keep them as busy as possible, so if there are worthwhile night skiing spots, post them up.

Tentatively, we are working on scheduling public demo days in VT for 3/6 & 3/7. We are trying for Jay Peak, Sugarbush, or Magic, but are open for other suggestions as well.

We are already scheduled to do a public demo day at Loon on 3/8.

Once the scheduled is finalized we will post it up (hopefully Monday night).

If there are any spots in NY/VT worth demoing at on Wed/Thur of next week, post them up and we will see if we can stop there.

Thanks!

You should have them come to butternut or sundown cuz isnt bwalmer a rep? It would be sickkkk.

Sundown and other demos are definitely happening, just later in the year.

We're bringing the fleet/tents/etc out, doing these demo days, and leaving it all with Bwalmer, who is gonna likely be doing Sundown, Mt Snow, Sugarloaf, and some other spots in the area later this year.

Our trip is mostly filled out (looks like it is gonna start out Blue Mountain, then hopefully Big Boulder & Seven Springs, then Holiday Valley, maybe Bristol, then up into Burlington for a few days, then Loon, and then the fleet gets taken over by BWalmer and our guys fly home.

So in the short term, mostly just looking for stuff within a 1-2 hour drive of Burlington that would be worth doing a night skiing demo on Wed/Thur.

I know its probably not high on your radar...

but going to SE Michigan and making a trip to northern Michigan would be super beneficial from a business standpoint. Everyone's always asking me about my Jeffreys and people are dying to try some out but they never really get the chance.

SE Michigan has a bigger park following than most people think. Some kids shred down here. And then theres some gnarly (for the midwest) stuff in the UP at Marquette and Bohemia.

Most people from Michigan are super hipster when it comes to skis (and beer) and like to buy small company, handmade skis. I know a handful of people who buy pairs just by me giving a little anecdote of ON3P.

Getting out here would definitely turn some heads. If you can work it into your trip, id definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately the rest of this season is already booked up. We also take a slow-but-steady approach to all this, so we can grow slow and don't overextend ourselves. It won't happen this year, but Michigan and the rest of the midwest are very much on our radar.

This is the first year we added reps (just 2 - one in CO, one in NE) and it is hard enough for us to get from Portland to Utah to do demo days, let alone the midwest, so no way our travelling demo truck could make it out that way this year. We are definitely going to work on getting something going for the midwest soon.

Plus it gives me an excuse to go out and ski Bohemia!

Thanks for helping to spread the word.

If you have any suggestions on ski areas we should checkout if we can make it to Michigan, let us know!

The only place that potentially meets your description would be Bolton Valley. Only resort with night skiing nearby burlington (~30minutes away). The think about Bolton is that it may not be worthwhile. I haven't been there in a few years but generally it was not very busy midweek evenings. They used to run a rail jam series on wednesday nights, that was the busiest it would get.

Sweet. Thanks!

If there is nothing that makes sense, they will keep busy but the more people we can get on our skis, the better.

They are definitely willing to travel an hour or more if need be. Honestly, coming from the West Coast, everything out East is SO close that we don't mind traveling a bit.
