SO SO SO SO STOKEDeven though i wont be competiting cuz o my damn back!!!but yeah, agreed, we are hurting bad for snow.

Hows the snow situation at Marquette? I'm down in kzoo and we're totally out of snow and I heard things up north are not all that much better...

We havent gotten any snow in a while but luckily the hill still has quite a bit of snow. we still have a 3 jump line down chute and another jump pack on contour. Superpark should still be game on, lets hope the they can make a solid jump...

We don't need to blow snow, we were smart enough to blow plenty when the temp were good in Jan, instead of marginal snow in March!

Plus if things really go south.. we will just rob snow from all the other runs to make SUPERPARK happen!

uh what?dude, Its not meant to be 60 degrees in the beginning of MArch at the end of the ski season....therefore, Nubs was plenty prepared. Take a look at the boynes, 3 RUNS OPEN TOTAL.

yea Crystal was making snow this past weekend and even last nite i believe? i really dont know why, alot of the crew dosnt either.....i think they need to call it a season. they dont have any park features up.

The problem is that the general public doesn't care to ski this late in michigan, everyone has going to the beach on the mind. Resorts know this and it is lost revenue to stay open later than they do. It sucks because all of us would love to be shredding spring park all of march and some of april but that isnt a big enough reason for places to stay open. Same thing goes with blowing snow, most places in southern MI blow just enough snow in jan/feb to stay open until mid march because they know the crowds will die around then. Definately sucks!

Sorry for the rant, I'm in a very boring class

i k now theres more to skiing than just park, last skiing of the year i didnt even go in the park......i was just adding that, its just half the hill is melted.

Thats funny you can see the Cat pushing snow up for the Rail setups and you can see the Back of the MONSTER jump just to the right of it

wow lots of snow cover! is the other jumpline still gonna be kickin this weekend? skiers left of chute i think its called?

The Jump line IS CHUTE. Small jump(very top), Medium jumps , to HUGE-60' and 30')..

unless your talking about the medium jump line CONTOUR .... Yes that will still be operational

just hit the jump about an hour ago, and it is gigantic! a BOOSTY 60+ ft. snow is soft and forgiving, get here!!!!

the jump is 65ft to the knuckle, it is not quite a step-over style jump but also not quite a step down ether, it's in between.

it's pretty fun though, had a little session on it today.

There was a lot of falling in the actual big air comp. In the actual comp the tricks went,1st) Ty Aymond, Cork 540 Truck Driver2nd) Kelly Shaheen Left 9 reverse tail3rd) Chris Schmidt Rodeo 540
During practice Noah was throwing sick rodeos, switch hits and attempted a double cork. Mike King attempted 2 Kang-flips during the competition and came real close!

Ty tweaked his truck driver so hard. and stomped the landing.

Props boys for throwing down and stomping some tough landings.

Thanks those you rode hard and threw down
