Microsoft Office Help Thread ( Word Excel Powerpoint )

Hey so I have a question about microsoft office and can not find the answer on google. Instead of signing up for some computer forum that I will just forget as soon as the answer is found, I would rather ask it on NS (this is after all non ski-gabber).

Since NS is made up of high school and university students, I'm sure there will be people out there who will be able to help.

If you know the answer please help out, for good karma of course! If you have any questions yourself post them here (I tried to make the thread title pretty searchable so it can be found)

Also please don't be an asshole or post stupid pictures, there is the rest of NSG to do that in.

 
Anyways the question I have is for word 2011 (mac). Does anyone know how to remove the header in "notebook" view? I find it easiest to take notes in this layout, but with the ribbon, header and top bar together, it leaves little room for the text itself. I can not for the life of my find out how to disable the header bar (which stays on top as your scroll through the notes)
 
There should be a small arrow like shape in the upper-mid right-hand corner of the page. If you click that it retracts the ribbon. If you need additional assistance I might be able to upload a screenshot.
 
thanks, my question was cow can I hide the header (not the ribbon). But honestly I guess I can hide the ribbon because I never use it in note-taking view anyways. Thanks for the help though.

I didn't know that you could just make it your name without having to do some special shit, so when I tried it out, since NS doesn't have a confirm button, like "Are you sure?" or something along those lines, it changed it. I guess I should change it back, but its his alias, so I don't really see why he cares so much. He obviously has something against me other than the fact that I "stole" his name.
 
can you read the useable characters?

You may only change your username once every 30 days. Usernames must be between 3 and 16 characters and may only include these characters:
A -> Z, 0 -> 9, _ - . * @ + = ] [ ^ ~
they are clearly there

and you did steal his name. and where is this new icon you made for it?
