Thats sick. I mean making music is sick and all but its good to do different things in life. You can't just give up something that you once had a huge passion/talent for. Good to see, hope he makes some GOOD edits.
 
I'm guessing this is just another marketing ploy that will most likely fail. I'll back Mik D forever but the dude is way past his prime, still ill though. How much influence does he have on skiing these days, not too much I'd say. Probably half the kids on this site weren't around during the 1242 and Exact Science days. Good for Mik D for getting hooked up but I doubt he'll generate a lot of sales for FD.

newschoolers needs publicly held companies, that way when they drop all their parents cash on gear, they can make some dividends.

We're excited to have Mickael on the program.

We aren't claiming he's going to win X-games this year or anything like that, we just want to help out a skiing icon and get him involved with a company that he's stoked on. Mickael deserves to be hooked up, skiing is where it is now partially thanks to influences like Mickael. WELCOME ABOARD!
 
HELL yes.

I mean this is basically the guy that invented the whole Super duper stylish (and ultra gangster) part of skiing. Forget what you feel about it, this has permeated deeply into our sport in a lot of ways.

Mik D is a fucking revolutionary. Imagine if we as a sport simply discarded these people because they weren't winning contests every day?

I'd like to think that we're a bit more stand up than that. Any of the old guys deserve a shitload of respect for what they have done to build a foundation that all of us can stand on.

I say thank you FD Wear, thank you for respecting our sports founders.

 
this. the hate on freeskier owned and ran companies needs to end. its one thing to message a company and point out flaws in garments or tips on improving there website, but the public bashing only hurts everyone. FD does a great job of supporting their riders , and the freeskiing industry, even if the style is somewhat polarizing we should try to support companies oriented to benefit newschool skiing in anyway. Also Mik D was obviously a huge influence to modern skiing style and id love to hear his take on skiing today and just get him back in the industry i applaud FD for doing so.
