Michigan Skiing for Spring Break

Ok so I might go to Michigan for spring break

what are some good resorts there that are within drivable distance of Cincinnati, Ohio?

like whats the vertical and all that or just the website?

and how is the snow like in michigan during spring break?

Hey, I'll be up there too.

Indianhead is alright but if you really want a nice park make the extra drive up to Marquette Mountain.

from cincinatti, you will be driving a long long way to ski some average midwest terrain

your looking at about a 4-6 hour drive for some good midwest skiing over spring break, i'd check out nubs nob, or boyne mountain, or highlands... schuss mountain also has a pretty nice park... the websites are www.nubsnob.com www.boyne.com and www.shantycreek.com

I'd recomend nubs because it has a kickin park, and decent superpipe

I would go to nubs. It will be about a 9 hour drive for you. Probably the most worth it.

if your driving all the way form ohio just go big or go home and go to marquette. nubs doesnt even have tables

marquette no doubt about it. nubs doesnt even have jumps besides their like 10 foot long step down.marquette with out a doubt

I just went to Nubs. The place overall was nice, well groomed as usual.

The park has a lot of rails and boxes but no jumps/tables. It has one step down jump at the top that blows.

i like it jsut wish they had more jumps

but its still cool

this is prolly way after the fact, but for all you michigan skiiers that miss table's or kickers its cuz some kid really wrecked himself, honestly i think he died, and the family sued one of the resorts up here and since then any northern MI resort isnt going to have any big jumps
