Michigan loses two of its finest

Are you kidding me. These guys were very good, but what about guys like Joey, don't know his last name, or Dane, don't know his last name either. I know that both of these guys beat Hornbeck and Barnes in comps. And I know that there are bunch of other guys that are out there who ride pretty sweet.
 
bigdig is so funny. hahaha. dane better than mike or tyler. hahahaha. comps mean nothing. they are judged by idiots and rarely do the people who should win actually win. again hahahahahahahahaha.

so bigdig isnt the smartest mf ever but anyway bigdig u are what is wrong with skiing today you want a cork seven from 5 years ago to win a comp; shit is played out comps are a joke it is who can do a cork 7 the best for the most part and it isnt that people cant do em it is most of us choose not to cause we know they are not as hard as anything switch people like u dont understand that and prolee never will
 
No,Ahahahaha! Don't know him or any of the other skiers, for business reasons watch alot of comps in mw and nw taking note of what's being played out. If comps are a "JOKE" then why so many comps throughout the US with millions spent on sponsorships, endorsements, etc? If comps are a joke then why did last years US Open Slopestyle registration fill up in 30 minutes? Just asking the questions.
 
sorry to jump on u bigdig and i am not tryin to take any thing away from dane or joey (they are good riders). i just took it as an insult to put them on the same level as tb and mike my bad but i will say that the cork 7 is played out cause that shit was winning contests in 01 and u think it still should.where is the progression in that comps are deffinatly a joke even the best ones (us open and x games)there is alway drama of some sort (who really won) but what do i know u win
 
Thanks for the comeback. I would agree with you that cork 7's are way out of date. The tricks guys and girls are throwing down these days are outrages and fun to watch, which I luckily get to do a lot. One thing I have observed is that all skiers that I have watched, beginner or pro, everyone has their own unique style which is what sets this sport apart. I wouldn't say that anyone is better then anyone else, they are just at a different level of their experience.
 
i know why hucking beat mike and tyler in comps, because they make it look easy, and the huckers make it look like they're doing something more difficult.
 
This thread has nothing to do with whos better then who. All it said was we left michigan. I dont know why bigdig jumped to a conclusion that we are better, who cares.
