no he doesn't hate america, he just is very aware of the enormously horrible fundamental problems that infest our country. america is a very fucked up place where a lot of bad shit goes down. he's passionate and hopes that if he brings it to the attention of the public then maybe, just maybe, someone will do something about it.

i personally think michael moore is very intelligent, but sometimes he definitely goes over the top. i mean i respect him, but his films are ALWAYS biased toward the liberal/ democratic side.
