I'm 19 and a decent frestyler. is this camp worth it? from the vids it seems like people dont go big. I don't really have the cash for the other camps but would it be more worth my while to camp out at a camp ground for a little while and shred the public park?
 
MHSSC had a pretty legit triple jump line last year. The third jump was good for sure. Ive skied mhssc but haven't gone to camp with them, but the coaches are all legit and the jibs are pretty damn fun as well. If you have lower budget I would just camp and hit up the public park in July. Get some friends to head out with you and its pretty sick as well.
 
yea mhssc gets a lot more riders than most people realize, they have good guys, too. and their jumps have been consistently sick (I remember hiking their jump line like 4 summers ago and it was fun). They have their own little ravine, and its closer to the lift than windells.

But as the first guy said, if you're on a small budget, you could just buy a summer pass (if you plan to ski like 20+ days or something) or just buy lift tickets and just camp at the airstrip and youll spend less money and ski more. Just make sure you are willing to do short little drives to do other stuff (swim, climb, city life, what have you) cause govy is pretty lame.
 
I'm going for session 4. I told my parents I wanted to go to hood for a camp and they told me I was going to the camp I wanted(so I thought they knew windells was the one I wanted). But it's still sick I'm getting to go to hood and from the site their rails look legit and hopefully they will have good jumps. +public park is right below their lane I think.
 
is anyone here going to the first session, it's 2 days after i get out of school and I might go
 
yeah MHSSC is definetily worth it their jumps and rails are sick and you pay less for more time on the mountain than windells. and off the hill its still really sick. theres not as much skateboarding stuff but i dont skate so its good. cliff jumping and their tramps are legit as well
