so tonight i was talkin with my friends and we were talking about how the countries fucked up and shit but also how the fact that mexicans can come in illegaly have a kid and they are legal. its messed up that that can happen. we def need to crack down on mexicans and ship teh illegal ones back. id much rather hire a homeless person on the street to cut my lawn then an illegal. the mexicans that are illegal no hate on legal ones should just wait there turn for a visa or greencard or watever there getting like every other person and not be selfish and come illegaly cause they suck.

1st of all they dont come illegally because they suck, they come because of unemployment in mexico and so their kids have a better future too and in order to do that they need to work and make money anywhere so they can to feed their children. these illegals have definitely an impact on the economy of the US, with out them this country would be where it is right now I'm sure of that. they come for a better life for them and for their family not all of them are criminals or drug dealers. People hire them for a reason and it's because they need they job and we also need them to do the job, many of them are very hard workers and nice people and maybe they couldnt get the visa because they can't afford to get one, I'm a legal immigrant and I know in latin America even to get an appointment for your visa costs a lot of money and they don't just give a lot of them out. please think about this when making these kind of statements because it just makes you sound like a very ignorant person.
 
that is one of the most ignorant, dumb, and illogical things i've read. i'm tired of black people too, let's send them all back to africa where they belong.....wait 5 years until you're old enough to understand what you're saying and i'll listen if you have a decent argument, but just saying they should be sent back and put in jail because you don't like them is really awful and ignorant

do you really think that illegal immigrants should just get to stay here for free and live off of our money? Why should they get to do that when my grandparents had to come over legally and work their asses off to make it and be successful? do you really want them taking our jobs (though, admittedly theyre mostly jobs noone else really wants to do)? You do realize that (as corny as this sounds) the American Dream is to work hard, play by the rules, and do well for yourself? Thats what millions of people have come to america for over the years. Allowing immigrants to stay and be freeloaders would devalue that a considerable amount and weaken the symbolic meaning of it.

i didn't know that. i thought getting a visa was easy everywhere. the situation about them trying to make it by is understandable too. its tough on them, but most illegals make it by, but honestly no need to take health care away from legal citizens, if they want to be here illegally, i dont have a problem as long as they are working, not doing anything illegal, and make positive contributions to society. and why can't illegals just come to the US and be a legal citizen with proof of a steady job, but they dont get government benefits, but pay taxes. is it that hard of a trade?

to the thread creator: thank you for repeating what your parents/ignorantfriends/fox news have been feeding you. I think even you, knowing what you know now about our country, would find it hard to gain citizenship. Homeless people got there for a reason, while the majority of illegals came here for a better life that they seek by working hard. While a lot of americans sit around waiting to cash their welfare check, the illegals are out working 3 jobs. The solution is not to send them all back. The solution is making immigration easier for them. In the end it would save us money. The money it costs to keep them in jail is a lot more than it would be to let them stay in our country and earn a living while paying taxes. its time to reform immigration laws.

I live in Arizona and I see illegal mexicans everyday in home depot parking lots just waiting for someone to pick them up, I'm talking like 15-20 in a group. From my experiences working with mexicans, I would never hire any of them. The majority of them are lazy and they do half ass work which usually means that I have to redo a lot of the stuff that they just did. I'm an electrician and I work with them every day. If it was up to me I'd ship them all back to Mexico and I'm 25
 
I was talking to someone i know in Dallas and it was a Huge shift when the blacks werent the minority there anymore, mexicans were, and only about 17-25 percent are legal...
 
becoming a citizen is very hard, I came to the US 5 years ago legally and now have my permanent residence, I wont get to be a citizen until at least 2011 and can't go visit my family or friends i had there until then. Mexicans are also giving up their family, friends, culture, language. they don't jsut come here because they want to but because they need to and maybe some are lazy or criminals but those ppl will always exist in every country. I think most of them are hard working.

second yes they may be hardworking and some of them friendly but they shouldnt be allowed here if there illegal. and i respect the fact that you did what you have to do to become a citizen here and had to wait or watever and i understand that it is hard but if u cannot past the test of watever than u shoudnt be allowed in. Cali p got shipped back csuae they didnt want him here same thing. i do think that peopel like urself should be able to go back and visit ur friends family, etc becuase ur dedicated to the country and did what you had to do the right way unlike are visitors from teh south
 
First off fuck anyone who supports illegal immigration. Mexicans, for the most part, are dirty lazy people look at their own corrupt country. They come into America because of all the hand outs, it's woth it to work for pennies when you get soo many free services. Everyone who feels like we need mexicans to do the shit jobs, well you're wrong. There are so many people from other countries who would be willing to do those jobs, we don't need mexicans. I know several africans who legally imigrated to America and they are decent people who really are here to work for a better life, not just milk our system. And the ammount of people who actually get citizenship compared to those that apply is very low. To even be apply you need college education and must speak and write engilish fairly well. Mexicans sneak across, drive illegally and kill little boys in ice cream parlors. Also fuck mexican truckers that have free range in America. I'm not against giving the mexicans who acually want to succede through hard work a chance. But that's only gonna happenen with a reformd immigration policy to allow a higher number of educated, non-threatening, hard working people into the country on a temporary basis. And automated sentrys anlong the border.
