mexican skiers

yes i have a mexican buddy that has skies with me a few times. hes no hardcore skier but he skied. i see a few mexicans up at perfect north sometimes but besides that not too much.

last year i was skiing in the park and it was totally empty except for these 3 mexican guys snowboarding and they didnt have on boots. just basketball shoes in their snowboard. and, they would go up to the jumps so slow, then not make it all the way up the face (even on the small ones) then turn sideways and hop up the face of the jump with the edge of the board. it was quite strange

 
the little kids at my area do that all the time (no matter what is strapped to their feet). I am amazed how many asiatic indians/pakistani's and whatnot that I teach (in MA of all places).

yea in the dunes. my ski instructor on the day i learned to ski was like bosnian or something. he was so cool. he remebered me after like a year. haha

my friend david who is full mexican but speaks perfect english skis. we got him to go last year and he can ski everything and do 360s, hes buying new skis this year too.

 
Is it just me or is it that ever time I see a bunch of Mexicans there in a group with about 2 guys, three fat chicks holding babys and a shitload of little kids.

im sure if you went to mexico to ski you will see alot of mexicans skiing.(im not kiddin either there are ski resorts in mexico)

 
that reminds me of a funny story, i was at brighton night skiing in 8th grade and at like half hour to close these egyptian people asked us if we would teach them how to ski and they paid my friends and I each 20 bucks for the 2 runs on the baby hill

theres tons of mexicans who live in jackson, they migrate up there (no i'm not kidding) every year to find work, construction mostly. when i was there all of last season, i saw a couple of them every now and then, but pretty god damn rare. they are really really cool people though, super nice, although they really need to work on the no cotton sweatshirts when its snowing and 8 degrees.
