I may be moving up to the Seattle or pdx are fairly soon and will probly need help moving my heavy furniture in. Down here in good old CA I can just go down to the local home depot or Lowes to pick up a few Mexicans, pay them $20 each and I have 2 hours of help. I i heard this isn't the case in the great white north? Correct?

How should I go about finding a couple cheap laborers? Craigslist? Look for the least grimey homeless guy?

Huh, a native pdx'er said home depot was a no go. Maybe he meant the day laborers were white not Mexican? Idk. Good to know that the usual spots have the usual folks.

Up here in the Seattle area, or the greater eastside where I reside, there are definitely "workers" loitering in every Home Depot parking lot I've encountered.
