Metallica?

Old shit was. new stuff blows. basically after and justice for all they fell apart
 
you thought the black album was garbage? personally I think they started going downhill with load but w/e...still my favorite band of all times.
 
imo the black album was not garbage but the beginning of their downfall. tons of people loved it tho. at that albums peak you couldnt listen to radio for 10 minutes without hearing enter sandman
 
their newest album Death Magnetic isnt that bad. it isnt old school metallica but at least it isn St. Anger metallica. its also better than the new GnR and AcDc album.
 
ha I remember hearing enter sandman on the radio ALL the time in the early 90s. I think thats what really brought metallica "mainstream"
 
yeah black album was the beginning of the end. st anger sucked everyones dick. but death magnetic wasnt too bad i like a listen every now and then.
 
kill em all and ride the lightening were the best albums ever created. but since those two i think its just gone downhill, black album had some sick songs, but it just wasnt the same thrash metal that defined metallica in the early dayzz
 
i love metallica, all time favorite band but im not too into their new stuff. the black album was ok but i agree they did kinda go down hill after that. the new album is alright but and justice for all is my alltime favorite
