Metal rail vs pvc/hdpe

i'm expanding my setup, the situation i'm going towards is about 12ft(3.5m) height, drop down to a flat platform 3-4ft(1.20m) highand then a second drop to zero....
now what rail should i get...i was thinking about installing a flat down flat rail, from flat 6ft(2m)- down6ft(2m)flat10ft( 3m)now my question is: would i have enough speed to get a metal rail or should i go for PVC ?
or do you have any other toughts about my design?

I would say that if your wanting to make a flat part in the middle of your ramp it would need to be pretty long. unless your planning to make an actual rail that ud hop onto from thee flat it would seem to be a waste of speed. I would say that rail is a little too long maybe make the flats shorter.

8ft flat 6ft down 8ft flat i think you could make in out of metal if you keep it waxed you should have no problems as long as your sppeed situation is decent

if you want maybe just make 3 diffenrent sections you'll have so many more options or just a big flat or a dfd
